D&S Tanzania under Managing Director Ben Munyao has recently been awarded the coveted and stringent ISO9001:2015 certification. The standard, which recognizes the highest levels of professionalism and integrity

that a company can achieve, requires organizations to understand and plan to meet the needs and expectations of all stakeholders whilst adequately addressing risks and opportunities in their operating environment. The latest certificate was recently presented at a colorful ceremony at D&S Dar es Salaam by Bureau Veritas representative Charles Furuguru to MD Ben and provides externally audited evidence that D&S Tanzania is an organization that is continuously improving whilst striving for the highest standards to consistently deliver to stakeholder expectation. The D&S ISO initiative is led by Group Internal Auditor Benard Karimi who leads a team of ISO champions responsible for applying the standards in their respective business units. In the case of D&S Tanzania, QMS Coordinator Fausta Kwesigabo is commended for her efforts in qualifying for the accreditation, which is exceptionally rare in Tanzania, with only a

handful of other firms having attained the standard.
