Giving back to local communities has been a commitment of Davis & Shirtliff since its founding in 1946...

Joy Divine Children’s Home is a Christian home set up in 2008 in Kajiado County to provide a home for orphaned, abandoned and street children. The home, which currently cares for 72 children aged 3 to 18 strives to offer quality lives to children who would otherwise have no future. The home,

with the support of various donors, drilled a borehole and approached D&S to partner in equipping. A new solar powered borehole pump was installed and a team drawn from D&S Head office, Kitengela branch and Rongai branch attended a handing over ceremony. Besides serving the home, the water also serves the local community and the day the pump was commissioned, over 4,000 cows belonging to people from the neighbouring community were watered.
