I started horticultural farming in 2018 October with one submerge water pump from your Kitale shop along with Mark Asembo Road. The pump has helped me in growing my farming by pumping water for domestic and farm use. During the months of droughts in Trans-Nzoia November to March, it has been of great help in the irrigation sector as in watering of short seasons crops like; tomatoes, onions, vegetables, and beans. Irrigation has helped me in boosting of the economy in that ready available horticultural crops are easily available in the market, like now I have already planted beans and sooner I will start irrigating them, So far I have secured a water pump generator (Dayliff Dc 50) and two Submerge water pumps (SCM-5 and HPE PUMPS). Thanks for your continuous support in water and solar pumps, together we celebrate (DAVIS & SHIRTLIFF @75).

I have been running Vitamin Sunrise for the last years 3 years. For the first 2 years as a fresh juice vendor in Malindi, then from December 2020, we ventured into agriculture in Mwala, Machakos. We have since dug a water pan to harvest surface runoff rainwater. It has a capacity of 1 million liters. We have grown vegetables (Kales, Tomatoes, Kunde & spinach), fruits seedlings (mangoes, pawpaws, and bananas), and cereals (maize and beans). All this has been made possible by a petrol water pump. We so far have employed 3 people. 2 ladies and 1 gentleman to help with the daily farm's chores. Mostly irrigating manually using jerricans after pumping the water into a 210-liter water tank. If we win, I will invest in your solar pump

Maureen Karimi Mutuma, Dayliff DDP60 Pump

I started tomato farming in Kitengela. The area has had problems with water so I got a pump (Dayliff DDP60) which I have been using to get water to enable my farming to be easy. Early this year I started kales, spinach, and terere farming. The DayliffDDP 60 has also been a good help to me. In this, I plan to start a greenhouse and do plenty of the products because the area is really fertile. Period- tomato farming has been in existence for 3years while the vegetables for 4months.

Milka Wanjiru Ngethe, Domestic Booster pump

Being a caretaker i advised my employer to buy a Davis and Shirtliff pump that was 2010 up to date, we still have it but because of pumping and serving us for so many years it broke down on 21/06/21 and we bought another one still from Davis and Shirtliff, we are happy because that's 11 years of uninterrupted service to our tenants who value out houses because of daily water availability. Davis&Shirtliff Thanks so much.

Wayne Maiko Juma, Linz 0.5 hp pump

Wayne Maiko Juma, Linz 0.5 hp pump

In 2008, I bought the Linz 0.5 hp pump for commercial purposes. Due to some financial reasons, I stopped using the pump in 2015 and resumed this year march. The pump had some rust and the wires had wornout due to outdoor environmental conditions. #improvingLives. I had thought of doing away with it until my wife suggested we try and replace the cable and try our luck. The cable was replaced and to our surprise, despite all those years of being inactive, being rained on ,it pumped water as new. #ImprovingLives@DavisShirtliff
