#ImprovingLives

Giving back to local communities has been a commitment of Davis & Shirtliff since its founding in 1946...

August 7th 1998 evokes sad memories in Kenya and Tanzania as the date when simultaneous terrorist attacks occurred in Nairobi and Dar-es-Salaam killing over 200 people. To commemorate the day, the August 7th Memorial Trust set up a memorial park located at the site that held the

American Embassy prior to the attack. The self-financing trust operates a memorial garden and a visitor’s centre. They approached Davis & Shirtliff to assist in reviving the irrigation and water distribution system. The work was successfully completed and handed over by Downtown branch team.
