The time-honoured tradition of Founders Day, the D&S celebration that marks the company's incorporation by founders Eddie Davis and Dick Shirtliff was this year held at D&S' Distribution Center at Tatu City.
My journey of 26 years with this great company has led me to taking up the responsibility as Group CEO with effect from June 2022. Although principally known as the world's largest producer of smart phones, the company has a diversified portfolio of digital and electronic products including the recently introduced range of smart grid solar PV inverters which the D&S group now offers in all its markets.
The initial D&S branch at Malindi opened in 2007, a decision recently being taken by GM Coast Mohamed Farook and Branch Executive Margaret Kuchio to relocate and upgrade the premises in order to provide a better experience for all stakeholders.
